He puts a great deal of emphasis on the importance of names. Yes if you name a cup “Oak Tree” then it is a cup but our perception of the cup is changed.
Lines are interesting because they don’t exist in nature, they are artificial, which makes a simple drawing much more interesting.

His work Reminds me of Rownak’s works as he also uses very bright colors and everyday objects. However his colors blend together more than Martin’s works.
I really do enjoy his use of colors because they make the ordinary objects pop. Magenta is a stronger color than people give it credit for.
